Open meetings

Purpose:  To share information and good practice pertinent to the children and young people’s voluntary sector in Northamptonshire.  This may include training, knowledge development workshops, information sharing sessions and networking events.

Membership:  A NCVYS open meeting is for all its membership; who are working or volunteering for children and young people aged between 8 and 25 within the Northamptonshire Third Sector.  Council officers and those working in relevant statutory sector agencies may attend these meetings but do not have any voting rights. 

Thematic Partnership meetings

Purpose: These meetings are chaired by NCVYS for the purpose of establishing a joint partnership with voluntary youth sector organisations currently funded by the county council, which seek to address identified needs and which provide services of a similar nature to children and young people aged 0-19. 

Membership:  Will include relevant voluntary sector organisations and county council officers.  The partnership will determine the other agencies that may need to be involved as relevant and appropriate
